2010 BOOK

The 2010 edition of the First Nation Yearbook is here. Featuring AFN's new chief Shawn Atleo, the Centre for Indigenous Theatre, Jeremiah Mason's story, and Thunder Bay Art Gallery.

Receive news, events, and information dealing with aboriginal communities directly to your inbox.

The purpose of the publication is to bring the First Nations Communities, Northern Communities and Western Communities together, through a positive media, on the issues of suicide prevention, lowering the school drop out rate, early drug and alcohol prevention, teen pregnancy and F.A.S. We promote prevention programs and career opportunities which build self-esteem and hope for the future for our youth.

The publication is also a vehicle where the different communities can share information and learn from each other. This helps curb feeling of isolation, cuts down on trial and error delays and gives highly deserved recognition to the people who work in these areas.

Your support is needed to keep these programs going and keep the awareness alive.

Thank you for considering us and caring about our kids and our future.
