Goldcorp’s Musselwhite Mine is a gold mine located in Northwestern Ontario approximately 480 kilometres by air north of Thunder Bay or, alternately, 150 km north of Pickle Lake via private road access. The mine employs approximately 500 employees and contractors who work at the mine on a fly-in-fly-out roster system. These people work together to mine almost 4,000 tonnes of ore per day from an underground mine that extends 4 kilometres underneath Opapimiskan Lake and to a depth of over 750 meters.
